Bartending — if done right — is more of an artform than anything else. The presentation, the taste and community that’s brought by bringing people, music and good liquor together is one of the simplest pleasures you can wrangle. Which led us to wonder… we all have our favorite drinks. Our favorite cocktails. Those old favorites, that like your favorite blanket as a child, you return to over and over again. Sure, you’ll occasionally branch out to something else. But, despite talking a good game, you tend to stay within my comfort zone.
But what if you didn’t? What if you decided to try something new, every day of the year? Our goal is to try everything from the standard (Sidecar) to the somewhat nauseating (Cement Mixer) to the completely batshit (Monkey Gland).
Come, sit down and stay a while. We’ve got some good music on the turntable and a bucket full of ice.
