One Year = 365 Unique Cocktails

Bartending — if done right — is more of an artform than anything else. The presentation, the taste and community that’s brought by bringing people, music and good liquor together is one of the simplest pleasures you can wrangle. Which led us to wonder… we all have our favorite drinks. Our favorite cocktails. Those old favorites, that like your favorite blanket as a child, you return to over and over again. Sure, you’ll occasionally branch out to something else. But, despite talking a good game, you tend to stay within my comfort zone.

But what if you didn’t? What if you decided to try something new, every day of the year? Our goal is to try everything from the standard (Sidecar) to the somewhat nauseating (Cement Mixer) to the completely batshit (Monkey Gland).

Come, sit down and stay a while. We’ve got some good music on the turntable and a bucket full of ice.

What’s the rush?

Now On Year Two

We’re now on our second year of creating unique cocktails every single day! Thank you to everyone for the support!

Blog will be updated by 10 p.m. Central Standard Time every day, barring something crazy.

  1. I think this is a great concept. I love the idea of posting a different cocktail everyday

  2. Miss Industrial Northeast says:

God Bless You, sir. If you need someone to sing at your liver’s funeral, let me know. It’s the least I can do…

  3. I thought about doing something like this about the time I started my blog, but I just didn’t have it in me… yes I am ashamed… you are far better than I. Great job with the site though Cheers !

  4. You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!

  5. Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

  6. I really like your writing style, good information, thanks for posting :D.
