Frank’s Julep

Frank’s Julep is powerfully spicy without being overpowering. Featuring Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select and orange bitters.

Ecossaise

The Ecossaise has a powerful anise and fennel flavor up front courtesy of the absinthe, then changes gears into an oaky, cereal mash burn from the scotch, and finishes with heavy, velvety spice.

“Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning.” – Proverb   It’s long been said that the manner of sky that tucks sailors into bed, as well what greets them in the morning, harkens to the weather they can expect to deal with during the day. Specifically, today, we’re talking about World Gin Day.

Grand Herbologist

Late spring and summer means that fresh herbs are creeping back into our daily cocktails. When picking herbs for your cocktail of choice, don’t limit yourself to the standards, however. Sure, you can pick up some sweet basil and make one damn fine basil-gin concoction. In fact, the gin-bail smash using “standard” gin is STILL this […]

Lavender Vodka Tonic

The lavender dominates the drink, but is prevented from being overly sweet by the tonic. While sipping, the sage will give you just a little bit more savory from all the sweetness from the lavender syrup.

Rye and Shine

The stronger bite of the rye will take some of that syrup off, and the addition of the fresh lemon juice brings out the bite from the Dewshine. The Angostura bitters (or really any type of bitters you may like) will balance it out and give some extra depth.
