Pear and Tonic

There’s beauty in simplicity. There’s a desire, which we’re not immune to, that seems to dedicate the love of everything complex. If you can create a cocktail with some many flavors working in harmony together, surely it stands as proof that you’re brilliant. Even Einstein (reportedly) said that if a cluttered desk was the sign […]

Lavender Vodka Tonic

The lavender dominates the drink, but is prevented from being overly sweet by the tonic. While sipping, the sage will give you just a little bit more savory from all the sweetness from the lavender syrup.

Blueberry Basil Lemonade Splash

The Blueberry Basil Lemonade splash simply takes the flavors already present in the rum and uses fresh juices and fruits to ratchet them up to 11.

Class up your Cinco de Mayo with a Tequila Mojito

With the Tequila Mojito, you’ll be able to pair your cocktail with some honest-to-God Mexican cuisine and be culturally sensitive at the same time.

Springheel

The Springheel takes George Dickel’s white corn whisky, combines it with the bite of grapefruit, and lightens it up for a perfect spring tipple.

The Dichotomy of Kansas Springs

Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Zephyr. It has been brutally windy the past four days here at Cocktails, 365 headquarters. So windy, in fact, that we’ve been making the news. I spoke with a colleague in California this afternoon who said the name Dodge City actually sauntered across their consciousness […]

A Tonic Apart – Jack Rudy Cocktail Co’s Small Batch Tonic

Words such as “handcrafted” and “artesian” and “small batch” can often be chalked up to clever marketing tactics. After all, there’s often times a good chance that your “small batch” whiskey isn’t actually small batch. Several articles have even been done on the fact that a good number of “micro-distilleries” actually buy a product from […]

Zodiac Cocktails Part Two (Cocktails): ‘Sblood

Why, look you now, how unworthy a thing you make of me! You would play upon me. You would seem to know my stops. You would pluck out the heart of my mystery. You would sound me from my lowest note to the top of my compass. And there is much music, excellent voice, in […]

Cosmic Limeade

Sonic, for my foreign readers, is one of the best fast food chains in the United States. Mainly because of its drink list. You have an almost unending number of flavors and mixtures to choose from (over 160,000 according to Sonic). In fact, their choices are so large, they even put a major marketing campaign around it. Not only that, for a long time the Dodge City Sonic (hometown sonic of Cocktails, 365) had the unique honor of being the busiest Sonic in the world. I’m not sure if we still hold that title, but hey, we’re eager for accolades out in this area of the United States.

Proost

The Dutch way to say “Cheers” is a hearty cheer of “Proost.” We hope you’ll use this recipe to cheer in your Hump Day. Remember, it’s really not all that bad. Proost 2 oz Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka .5 oz Chambord Raspberry Liqueur Tonic water Combine the Van Gogh and Chambord in a cocktail […]
