Bourbon and Baker brings Mixology to the Little Apple

Don’t let the location fool you. Cocktail culture is alive and well in the Midwest. Just look as far as Bourbon and Baker in Manhattan, Kansas for proof.

Purple Rose of the Desert Sage

Back on June 14, the cocktail world celebrated National Bourbon Day. We celebrated, too, but perhaps a bit too much.

3 Recipes for National Mojito Day

Today is one of the many plethora of holidays on the calendar, because we all know that there are few greater tragedies than an empty calendar square. We will never not look for an excuse to drink, however, so National (Insert Random Booze) Day is always welcome around Cocktails, 365. Of course we’ll have a […]

Three Cocktails for World Gin Day

The phrase “better letter than never” seems to truly define the Cocktails, 365 experience. Lavender Vodka Tonic

The lavender dominates the drink, but is prevented from being overly sweet by the tonic. While sipping, the sage will give you just a little bit more savory from all the sweetness from the lavender syrup.

Rye and Shine

The stronger bite of the rye will take some of that syrup off, and the addition of the fresh lemon juice brings out the bite from the Dewshine. The Angostura bitters (or really any type of bitters you may like) will balance it out and give some extra depth.

Viva Villa

Brilliant in its simplicity – the Viva Villa features tequila front and center with the remaining ingredients playing the Pips to the tequila’s Gladys Knight.

Deep Purple

The acai has a taste very similar to blueberry, and the lemon boosts the sweeter lemonade flavors from the Cruzan.
