The Savoy Project Day Seven – After Supper Cocktail
The Savoy Project is an online chronicle of Cocktails, 365 editor Mark A. Vierthaler’s quest to make every single cocktail in The Savoy Cocktail Book. Each recipe contains the original recipe as it appeared in the book, as well as which brand I used in parenthesis next to the ingredient.

After Supper Cocktail | ® 2017 Cocktails, 365
- 1/2 Apricot Brandy
- 1/2 Curaçao
- 4 Dashes Lemon Juice
Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.

Hey, guys. Remember last night when I said that adding some lemon juice makes the After Dinner (Special) Cocktail more palatable? Turns out that means I was just making an After Supper Cocktail! Sometimes it pays to read ahead…
At any rate, this is still quite sweet, so I recommend 1/4 a large lemon, squeezed and shaken with the drink to really bolster that citrus and cut through the sugar. Otherwise you’re still just asking to go into a sugar coma with this drink.
