Beertails tend to not get the lion’s share of attention. They tend to be difficult, and for the most part, beer is ready to drink by itself.
However, every once in a while you come across a beer that’s just begging to be mixed. Rogue Brewery’s Voodoo Doughnut Pretzel, Raspberry, and Chocolate ale is just one such beer. Insanely complicated, multilayered, and just bitter enough Rogue’s Voodoo tastes like a cocktail in and of itself.
The Rogue Wind is a way to capitalize on that complexity with some extra “oomph” from moonshine.
- 1 750 ml bottle of Rogue Brewery Voodoo Doughnut Ale
- 3 oz George Dickel White Corn Whisky
- 3 dashes chocolate bitters
Combine the ingredients in a Belgium beer glass. Top off with the remaining Rogue as you drink to dilute.
