We’re mixing with the reposado Casa Noble today, so when mixing with a heavier tequila (or any heavier liquor) it’s best to remember that balance is the key.
The Ethereal takes some of the sweeter notes and turns this into a borderline dessert cocktail, but it’s salvage by the quinine tang of the tonic.
- 3 oz Casa Noble reposado tequila
- 1 ice ball
- Tonic water to top
- 1 dash of St. Germain elderflower liqueur
Place the ice ball in a rocks glass and pour the tequila over the top. Top with the tonic water about 3/4 of the way and let the fizz mix the drink. Drizzle one dash of St. Germain over the top. (Really emphasizing one dash because that shit’ll overpower anything else if you do too much.)
Serve.
