Angel’s Kiss

August 12, 2013 (Day 96) – Angel’s Kiss

This recipe appears in What Shall We Drink by Magnus Bredenbek (1934). It serves as a companion drink to the Devil’s Delight we featured earlier.

Here’s a drink from Canada sure to appeal to the ladies. It’s a dainty drink and deserves the dainty type of cocktail glass.

  • 1 oz burgundy wine
  • 1 oz (white) creme de cacao
  • 1 oz grenadine
  • 1 oz heavy cream

Angel’s Kiss

As you would expect from the name and the ingredients, this is very, very sweet. Popular with the ladies, perhaps, but only if they’ve nuked their tastebuds and all they can taste is sugar.
