May 28, 2013 (Day 19) – Fairbank Cocktail
This cocktail originally appeared in ABC of Mixing Cocktails by Harry McElhone in 1922.
- 1.75 oz gin
- .75 oz dry vermouth
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 2 dashes créme de noyeaux
Stir in a mixing glass filled with ice and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Gin right up front withe the creme de noyeaux adding a very pleasant bit of almond just on the end. Very classy.
2 dashes Crème de Noyaux Shake with cracked ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Twist orange peel over drink.
