May 25, 2013 (Day 16) – Chevy Chase

A name, in fact, that influenced our sense of humor in countless possible ways.
Appearing on page 26 of the 1934 book What Shall We Drink? by Magnus Bredenbek, is none other than the Chevy Chase.
That’s right. A cocktail named Chevy Chase, appearing a good nine years before good ol’ Cornelius was even born.

- 1.5 oz sweet vermouth
- Dash orange juice
- Dash orange bitters
