There is an outstanding french song that was popular back in the hey day of the 1950s called “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” which translates to “No, I don’t regret anything.”
The whole song oozes class, so we figured we needed to create a cocktail that was equally class.. oozy…
Yeah…
So. Right. Je Ne Regrette Rien.
- 1.5 oz Campari bitters
- 1 dash grenadine
- 1 dash rose water
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Brut champagne to top
- Maraschino cherry for garnish
Place the Campari, grenadine, rose water, and orange bitters in the bottom of a champagne flute. Stir gently. Top with champagne, and serve garnished with a maraschino cherry.
Just a little bit of sweet with a nice bit of bitter.
