With it’s dark red color and sweet, citrus, bitterness Campari does turn out to be one of the best options heading into the fall months.
You can straddle that delicate line between a cocktail that is too heavy for the hot temperatures but too light for the chill winds that sweep in from the north.
The Campari Collins is one of the hybrid cocktails that can easily be broken out for a last hurrah of summertime temps, or used to ease into jacket weather. This recipe comes straight from those magnificent bastards over at Campari, so you can (supposedly) trust their taste!
- 1.5 oz Campari
- .5 oz Grand Marnier
- 1 oz sweetened lemon juice
- 1 oz soda water
Build the ingredients in a juice glass filled with cubed ice. Garnish and serve.
