Ron Zacapa Centenario Solera Grand Reserve Part Two: Blueberry Rum Smash


We’re going to try and break this ungoldy heat with a mid-August blueberry based cocktail.

This is one hell of a crowd pleaser.

  • 2 oz Ron Zacapa
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Fresh juice from one lemon
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Ginger ale to top

Take a rocks glass and fill the bottom with one layer of fresh blueberries. Add the brown sugar and lemon juice and gently muddle. (The longer you let this sit, the better the flavors are going to meld). Fill the glass with ice then top with the rum and ginger ale.

Holy hell this is amazing. This will be drank fast.
