Cosmic Limeade

For those of you who read Cocktails, 365 and don’t have access to a Sonic near you, we truly feel bad for you.

Sonic, for my foreign readers, is one of the best fast food chains in the United States. Mainly because of its drink list. You have an almost unending number of flavors and mixtures to choose from (over 160,000 according to Sonic). In fact, their choices are so large, they even put a major marketing campaign around it. Not only that, for a long time the Dodge City Sonic (hometown sonic of Cocktails, 365) had the unique honor of being the busiest Sonic in the world. I’m not sure if we still hold that title, but hey, we’re eager for accolades out in this area of the United States.

Part of summer for the Cocktails, 365 crew has been heading down to the local Sonic and picking up a limeade. So it only seems to make sense that we’d make our own booze-a-holic version for our website. It’s called “cosmic” because it’s made with Zodiac vodka. And, you know, stars and shit.

• 2 oz Zodiac Vodka
• 1 oz lime cordial
• Tonic water to top

Combine the ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice. Stir well and serve with a lime wedge garnish.

Clean and crisp. Perfect for an evening after yard work, any type of sweaty workout. (We’re looking at you, perverts).
