March 28, 2012 (Day 365) — Biennial
Two years. For the past two years we’ve created a unique cocktail every single day. There’s been some great cocktails, and there’s been some abominations. There’s been some great posts written with such wit and craft to be confused with Hemingway. There’s been some horrible posts that consisted of us doing nothing other than posting the recipe along with a photo.
But through it all, you’ve stuck with us. In fact, you’ve not only stuck with us you’ve continued to grow your ranks. We have over 5,000 followers of this site. We couldn’t do that without your help and your support.
What better way to recognize all the improvements over the past two years than to simply stick with tradition. We’ll give you a great cocktail with a simple post that you can share with your friends, fans, and family.
- 1 oz Pallini Limoncello
- 1 oz fresh pineapple juice
- 1 dash grenadine
- Ginger ale to top
Combine the limoncello and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and then strain into a chilled martini glass. Top almost to the top with the ginger ale, and then drizzle your dash of grenadine down the side to create a layered effect.
Don’t forget to stick around though. Just because we’ve finished two years worth of cocktails, stay tuned. We will be still writing, and keeping you (hopefully) entertained!
Cheers!
