March 19, 2012 — Pendleton Canadian Whisky
Canadian Whisky is kind of the bastard step-child of the whiskey family. Many criticize it for being watered down and a weaker version that its more famous American cousin, bourbon.
However, there’s one brand that has managed to rise above the rest and create a unique experience for Canadian whisky; sweet but powerful.
We’re talking, of course, about Pendleton.
Nose:
Sweet and smooth, with strong overtones of vanilla.
Neat:
Nice and smooth. Unlike some Canadian whiskies, its got a nice powerful kick.
On the Rocks:
Even smoother. Watch out.
Also, we’re drinking out of our KU glass to celebrate the Jayhawks in the Sweet Sixteen.
Rock Chalk!
