Williamsburg

March 6, 2012 (Day 343) — Williamsburg

While on the east coast for my brother’s bachelor party, we spent some time in NYC. Which we love, by the way.

While there, we also spent some time at a super-hip hotel in Brooklyn near Williamsburg in Fort Greene. Now, my little understanding of Brooklyn happens to be that Williamsburg is considered Hipster Mecca.

This drink takes off on some of those ideals of rugged individualism so long as it falls along the 1880s timeline.

  • 2 oz Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon
  • 4 drops Angostura bitters
  • .5 oz red wine (we used Cabernet Sauvignon)

Combine all ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice and the stir well. Serve.

Cheers!
