We’ve come to the defense of flavored vodkas before. While certain purists consider them bastardizations of a true versatile liquor, we regard them as just one more way to expand the horizons of making cocktails. There are certain things that tend to make us raise our eyebrows though. One of those is the cream-based vodkas.

Specifically, whipped cream vodka. But Pinnacle is here to change our minds about this.

Nose:

Very sweet scent that rolls off easily.

Neat:

It has a strong, sweet, creamy flavor. Syrupy, but that does mask any possible burn.

On the Rocks:

It’s still very sweet. You’ll want to make sure you’re tempering your cocktails with ingredients that help balance out the heaviness.
