January 29, 2012 (Day 306) — Tennessee Christmas
Okay, so we’ve missed Christmas by over a month. But once you get this cooking your house will smell like it’s Christmas dinner all over again.
- 2 oz Dickel Cascade Hollow
- Mulled red wine to top
We made our red wine by taking 4 oz of a Jacob’s Creek Shiraz, doing a slow simmer (not boil) until heated through with two whole cloves, a cinnamon stick, and a dash of fresh nutmeg.
Combine the ingredients in a heat resistant mug and serve.
