Sophisticated Cowboy

Before anyone gets all elitist up here, there are such things as sophisticated cowboys. Growing up in the Midwest, there are those that are true, dyed-in-denim cowboys who still enjoy the finer things in life. This drink capitalizes on that dichotomy by combining bourbon — a drink often associated with the old west — with vodka, something much more metropolitan.

• 1.5 oz Sobieski Vodka
• 1.5 oz bourbon
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Combine the vodka, bourbon and  bitters in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass.
