Kismet

January 6, 2011 (Day 283) — Kismet

Kismet is a couple of different things, really.

By definition, kismet is destiny. It’s also a Broadway show.

It’s Arabic in origin, with heavily implications that kismet is the allocation of one’s lot in life.

Kismet

  • 2 oz Malibu Black
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • .25 oz amaretto
  • .5 oz grenadine
  • Champagne to top

Combine ingredients in a Boston shaker with crushed ice. Stir well until chilled and then strain into a wine goblet. Top with champagne

Cheers!
