December 30, 2011 (Day 276) — Blue Star

Here’s another recipe that appeared on the Hpnotiq site, which we’ve adjusted a little bit for our own uses. We like doing that, in case you guys haven’t noticed.

New Blue Star

• 3 oz Hpnotiq
• 1 oz gin
• 1 dash simple syrup
• Sparkling Pear Cider

Combine the Hpnotiq, gin, and syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top with cider. Serve with a star anise garnish.
