ORIGINAL — Fallen Leaves

November 16, 2011 (Day 232) — Fallen Leaves

Testing out a new liqueur without a large base of fans.. or even much of an online presence… or even much of any presence… is a bit of a double-edge sword. There isn’t a lot of inspiration to draw from to replicate “official” cocktails. By the same token, this gives you the freedom to create whatever the hell you really want and maybe even set up some future classics.

Here’s another fall/Thanksgiving cocktail that you can drink while singing this rock song that always used to get stuck in my goddamned head.

Fallen Leaves

  • 2 oz Fulton’s Harvest Pumpkin Pie Cream Liqueur
  • 1 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
  • .75 hazelnut liqueur

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shake well, and then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with crumbled graham crackers.

Powerful cinnamon and a bit of nuttiness on the end. Enjoy!

Cheers!
