November 3, 2011 (Day 219) — Pink Limeade
We told you that the snow would be gone by today. In fact, not only is the snow gone, the temps have picked back up and are heading back into fall territory. Fall territory for western Kansas is a lot like spring and summer temps in other areas of the country. That means that it’s perfect outside now. And we’re not entirely ready to bid farewell to the fine weather. Sip on a cool summer night or a crisp fall morning (a weekend preferably).
Pink Limeade
- 2 oz Burnett’s Citrus Vodka
- .5 oz Chambord Raspberry Liqueur
- .5 oz lime cordial
Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shake filled with crushed ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Bright and summery with some heavy sweetness from the Chambord and lime cordial.
Cheers!
