Dark and Stormy No. 2

October 5, 2011 (Day 190) — Dark and Stormy No. 2

The Dark and Stormy is a classic cocktail using Gosling’s Black Seal Rum. It’s also incredibly basic, and we’ve covered on these pages before.

This is a slight variation on that classic.

Dark and Stormy No. 2

• 2 oz Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
• 1 oz lime cordial
• Ginger beer to top

Combine all the ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and stir well. Serve up.

Very similar to the original, but you have this nice little bit of citrus bite and sweet on the backend of the quaff.
