Kentucky Cream II

September 2, 2011 (Day 157) — Kentucky Cream

Okay, we’re taking a slight detour from those super-heavy, cream-laden drinks of the past several nights.

This is going to be a bit sweet for some of you “manly-only” kind of imbibers. But, it’s not nearly as foofy as some of these recent ones. And you could drink it in the company of your boys without feeling out of place.

Kentucky Cream II

• 2 oz Absolut Vanilia Vodka
• 2 oz high-quality bourbon

Combine the two ingredients in a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Stir well and serve.

This is very sweet, with the vanilla vodka and bourbon, but nice and powerful. It will sneak up on you quick though.
