A long day of home improvements on your Saturday calls for a simple, easy to make and easy to drink cocktail to wind down. Even if you’re stuck in a hurricane out east, you can enjoy this drink. Pretend it’s a beautiful summer day on the beach. We’ll let you.

On a serious note, we hope everyone stays safe as the storm comes ashore.

Costa Rica Bum

• 2 oz Blackmaker Root Beer Liqueur
• 1.5 oz vodka
• .5 oz heavy cream

Combine the ingredients in a Boston shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake well until the drink is nice and foamy. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice and serve.

Heavy, sweet, and oh so easy to drink.
