Another filthy, filthy sex cocktail?

Guess it’s time to bust this guy out again…

A bit of background on the drink — a Between the Sheets is a classic cocktail that tends to find popularity in sorority girls’ repertoires a lot. It’s a sweeter drink that packs a powerful punch. This cocktail started out as a takeoff on the classic. However, it’s nowhere near close to that now. Why? Because we got inspired as we were mixing up drinks.

This is a drink that likes to leave the lights on. And the blinds open.

Exhibitionist

• 2 oz Grand Monarch Orange Liqueur
• 1.5 oz bourbon
• .5 oz simple syrup
• Juice from 3 limes
• Juice from 1 lemon

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well until a sweat forms on the outside of the shaker. Strain into a chilled highball glass filled to the top with crushed ice. Garnish with a lemon slice.

Very, very citrus, with that great punch of sweetness from the bourbon. Maybe a little too sour for some people’s taste. If you aren’t very fond of sour, then I’d cut it down to two limes and up the simple syrup to a full ounce. Otherwise, if sour is your think, this is a great cocktail. Perfect for these hot, muggy summer months.
