June 30, 2011 (Day 93) — Knickerbein Cocktail
What the hell is Knickerbein?
A Knickebein is German for “crooked leg.”
Perhaps this is an Anglicization bastardization of that word.
Damned if we know. It’s this drink.
Knickerbein Cocktail
- 3/4 oz Orange Curacao liqueur
- 3/4 oz maraschino liqueur
- 3/4 oz VS cognac
- 1 oz eggs
Serve in a frosted glass and dust with freshly grated nutmeg and orange zest.
