Jack Does Ginger

  • 2 oz Spiced Jack No. 94
  • Splash coconut rum
  • Ginger ale to top

Combine the ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice, stir well and serve.

Very tropical. The sweetness of the coconut rum, even just a splash of it, is enough to take the edge off of the spiced rum.

It’s a light flavor with a pleasant heavy sweetness on the end from the spiced rum. This is a great introductory cocktail for people who aren’t too familiar with spiced rums but would like to dip their toes into the pool. It’s a very solid, well-balanced cocktail at a fair price.

You do need to be very careful that you don’t overdue the coconut rum, as it an end up overwhelming the entire drink. You want it bolster the drink. Not knock it over the head and draw dicks in permanent market all over its face.
