Cinco de Drinko

May 5, 2011 (Day 38) — Cinco de Drinko

Cinco de Mayo in the United States tends to be much like St. Patrick’s Day in the United States.

By that I mean that they tend to both involve rich white kids indulging in offensive ethnic stereotypes as an excuse to get drunk.

Diversty!

So in honor of bastardized holidays used as excuses to get hammered, tonight’s drink infuses some Mexican and American culture.

Cinco de Drink

2 oz Wild Turkey American Honey

1 oz tequila blanco

.25 blue agave syrup

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail glass filled with ice.

Nice sweetness from the tequila, syrup and money. Perhaps a bit too sweet for my usual tastes, but still pretty dang awesome.

Cheers!
