April 27, 2011 (Day 30) — Presidente Seco

It actually managed to warm up a little bit today. That can only mean one thing.

I don't know what the hell this is.

That’s right. Al Gore is getting eaten by a polar bear somewhere. Or something.

Presidente Seco

• 2 oz Bacardi Gold Rum

• 1 oz Dry Vermouth

• 1 tsp grenadine

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir well until chilled and then strained into a chilled martini glass.

Nice and sweet, but well balanced. It’s a girly drink for guys. There’s still enough of a bite to be enjoyed, but it’s nice and colorful for the poolside.
