April 7, 2011 (Day 11) — ChocoNanners
Yeah, it’s an offensive name. Or sounds like something someone who’s been repeatedly hit on the head would come with it. Yet, I’m comfortable with that. This is a little bit of a chocolate dessert treat that was especially created for my lovely wife Jenn, who will be reviewing it this evening.
Jenn tends to like smoother, creamier cocktails. This is one I tweaked a little bit to see what she would think of it.
ChocoNanners
- 2 oz Boru Vodka
- 1 oz creme de cacao
- .5 oz creme de bananes
- .5 oz heavy cream
Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with cracked ice. Shake the ingredients until frosted on the outside. Pour into a chilled martini glass and swirl some chocolate syrup on top. Serve.
When I gave it to Jenn, she danced a little jig. That’s usually a good sign.
“It’s very good and sweet. The colder it is, the better it gets.”
She then put it in the freezer for a booze slushy later on.
Cheers!
