November 29, 2010 (Day 303) — Bourbon Cheer
I’ve spent the past four hours standing on my feet downtown serving chili up to over 200 people. But that’s cool, because we were raising non-perishable food items for the local food pantry/homeless shelter. Also, it was a great time for friendship and discussion on a crisp fall evening.
However, in light of that, and the fact that my hands and back are aching because I’m an old man, I’ll make it short this evening.
Bourbon Cheer
2 oz bourbon
Orange juice to top
Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice. Pour in your bourbon then top with the oj. Stir well and serve up. It has a nice dark orange look to it. A perfect evening tipple before snuggling up in a warm bed.
The two flavors mix together surprisingly well!
Cheers!
