November 20, 2010 (Day 294) — Black Hawk
We’ve got some family staying over this evening, so it’ll be a shorter post tonight, folken. To me, fall means whiskey. So, let’s make something with some bourbon.

The dog on the right's name is Bourbon. He's not used in this drink. Although he would probably drink it.
So, what shall we make this evening?
Black Hawk
1.5 oz bourbon
1.5 oz sloe gin
Fill a rocks glass with ice, pour in your liquors and then mix well. Serve.
Interesting, if not tasty. The sweetness of the sloe gin compliments the sweetness of the bourbon, but brightens it up a bit. Definitely a fall drink.
Cheers!
