October 11, 2010 (Day 254) — End of Hell
Hey, look! Another theater post! This one will be brief because we’re all worn out and ready to hit the hay. I’ll have some longer posts this week. Much love!
Traditionally at our theater, we rehearse for four weeks, then have a four-week run. That last week of rehearsals/first week of performances is called Hell Week. With good reason. Why is it called Hell Week you say? Because you have rehearsal Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; Company Night Thursday; opening night Friday; then the show Saturday and Sunday. Hell week.
Monday is a thankful day of rest, because you finally get an evening off to catch up on your sleep and see your family. So, seeing asi it was another chilly fall evening tonight, and it’s the end of Hell Week, I figured I’d make a new drink for this evening featuring Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey!
Let’s get something warming up in this bidnass. Let’s sip to the
End of Hell
2 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
.5 oz Peachtree Schnapps
Apple cider
Stick of cinnamon
Fill a small Irish coffee mug with your liquor and top with apple cider. Drop your cinnamon stick in the glass. Microwave for 1:45 (or however long it takes to warm it up depending on your microwave strength, etc.) If you’ve got a stuffy head, take a deep breath. I dare you.
Bright, hot and sweet. Perfect fall drink.
Proost!
