August 14, 2010 (Day 197) — Bolo
This morning my dad and I set down two kayaks in the beautiful waters of a nearby lake and proceeded to paddle our asses off for the next 2 1/2 hours.
It was beautiful, hot, cool and exhausting. Overall, a pretty great guy. That being said.

Bolo
2 oz rum
1/2 oz lime juice
1 oz orange juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Not too bad, really. The citrus of the juices mixed with the darkness of the rum and spice of bitters is a pretty solid combination. As always, make sure you’re using fresh juices. It always make a huge difference.
