Metapost: Upgrades

First, I want to offer a very sincere thanks to everyone who’s been reading Cocktails, 365. I started this project in February of this year as kind of way to indulge my love of writing and my love of cocktails. Where I started with an average of 15 to 30 hits a day, I’m now averaging between 500 and 800 depending on the day of the week.

Between all the positive feedback I’ve received here on the blog, on, on Facebook and on Twitter, it really means a lot. Hopefully you’ll keep coming back as the blog continues to evolve!

A quick note on some of the upgrades:

• You can now browse through past posts! All of my posts up to this point have been archived by month, as you can see in the upper right.

• Or, if you’re looking for something specific, you can find the search box below it. Ooooh! Ahhhh!

• Below that you will find my Twitter feed. If you’re on Twitter, feel free to follow me, and I’ll make sure to return the favor! I’ve had some great conversations on there already.

• Subscription Box: Just can’t get enough Cocktails, 365? I didn’t think so. But if you’re bored, you can still sign up to receive e-mail notifications whenever we update!

• Blogroll: This is constantly being updated with some of the best and brightest food, photo and cocktail people I stumble across. Be sure and check them out as well.

• Find Us Elsewhere: Other places to track Cocktails, 365 down on the net. (Teaser: Perhaps in print soon, as well!)

• RSS Feeds: If you use an RSS news reader, here’s your chance to never miss a new cocktail/drunken rambling by some half-assed, no-talent hack writer/amateur bartender! Woooo!
