White Ape

February 04, 2010 (Day 5) — White Ape

The first thing Jenn said this morning when I told her my planned cocktail for tonight was, and I quote, “Lazy.”

“Can’t dance” may have been in there somewhere, too. It’s all a little hazy…

My defense: I was adventurous yesterday. If there’s one thing I’m not, that’s adventurous two days in a row. That’s simply improper! A true gentleman daren’t push himself beyond his comfort zone too often, for fear of becoming reckles… or worse… liberal… (perish the thought!)

So yeah, I’m being lazy tonight. But nothing better to do on a snowy night after working on my car/helping Kolin make a snowman than settle in for a hockey game or two and some some cocoa with booze.

  • 1 cup hot cocoa (Jenn’s mom’s recipe)
  • 2 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Dash of green creme de menthe
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • Dollop of whipped cream
  • Chocolate syrup

Boil water, make hot chocolate. Pour Bailey’s, mix in to your hot chocolate. Float whipped cream on top. Swirl chocolate syrup on the top. Put a dash of green creme de menthe over the top. Imbibe!

Wintry deliciousness!

Salud!

Genieße das Leben ständig!
