September 26, 2011 (Day 181) — Bourbon Cream Soda
We’ve made cream soda cocktails before. This one will take advantage of the Old Whiskey River’s burn and bite to stop it from becoming too sweet and taking a bit of the edge off of the bourbon.
Bourbon Cream Soda
- 2 oz Old Whiskey River Bourbon
- 1 oz 360 Madagascar Vanilla Vodka
- 1 oz heavy cream
- Ginger ale to top
Combine all the ingredients in a highball glass filled with crushed ice and stir well until perfectly mixed.
Sweet with just enough of a burn left over from the OWR to really make it pop.
